Post-production is hard work; without the proper guidance, the process becomes unwieldy and inefficient. Small mistakes or oversights along the way can drastically negatively impact your work. There’s a lot to think about when it comes to assembling and refining your movie. How do you deliver your work in the best quality possible to the viewer?

Students in this class will learn the crucial steps for managing that process, from file preparation, editing, working with directors, color correcting, visual effects, sound, music, making trailers, promotion, and distribution.

This class will be held on Zoom every Thursday evening starting May 25 to June 22 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM CT.

Post-Production is a rigorous process with many intricacies. Learn from an industry professional with decades of experience in TV & Film production so you know exactly what to deliver to the film festival, theater, client, distributor, or online platform. This is the class that brings all of the concepts of post-production together into the workflow you need to know - as important for your own creative projects as for any industry post-production professional.

Once you register for the class, you will receive an email each week with a link to access the online classroom via Zoom. All class materials are included and will be emailed to registered students. 

Technical requirements: Students can access the course via a computer or smartphone. While access to a webcam or phone camera is preferable, only audio and the ability to view video are required. Students will need to install the Zoom app on their computer or smartphone, but no account is required.
