Cinematography is known as the art of motion-picture photography. Cinematographers use controllable elements such as movement, visual composition and the nature of lighting to create the visual tone of a scene. In this advanced camera techniques course, students will shoot camera drills, gain insight on numerous technical setups and solve technical issues. Students will also practice and gain knowledge on two-camera set-up, using a dolly, operating a steadycam and best practices for green and blue screens. A director of photography (DP) guest speaker will also be in attendance for one class.
