The only film festival devoted to the art of drinking! Chicago Filmmakers and Drinking and Writing Theater present the third annual Tied House Film Festival, a selection of new and original short films that investigate, extrapolate or involve on the six stages of intoxication: euphoria, excitement, confusion, stupor, coma and death. The films may not be about alcohol intoxication per se, but will explore the state of intoxication however personally defined. Visit our website to see the full line-up in mid June. Selected filmmakers will be awarded a free growler of local craft beer from the Haymarket Pub and Brewery and audience award winning films will receive premier prizes from local businesses.
