Love, Lust & Violence

Directed by: Norbert Meisel

The son of a four-star general owes thousands to the mob. When his father gets wind of the dilemma, he enlists the help of a top agent to not only save his cash but take down as many mobsters as possible. After the plan goes awry, an all out war between the FBI and the mob begins, and the agent realizes his growing attraction to the general's secretary. As a mafia drama, Love, Lust & Violence epitomizes all of the best and most common elements of 70s exploitation cinema: outlandish plots, over-the-top violence, mean spirited sex, and a general ambiance of ridiculousness. (Norbert Meisel, 1975, 88 min., 16mm)
