PISTOLS AND STAMEN: ELLEN NIELSEN & LESLIE ROGERS

Utilizing sculpture, video, and performance, Ellen Nielsen and Leslie Rogers probe notions of sexuality, nature, humor and absurdity to wittingly subvert associated conventions. In their work, we enter eco-feminist critical landscapes that teeter provocatively on a line between beauty and vulgarity and are composed of giant poms, stuffed phalli, glitter, silly string, and flowers.
