Current Projects

This untitled film documents advertising legend Tom Burrell, his upbringing on Chicago’s south side, entry into advertising, his creation of Burrell Communications Group and his post-retirement work authoring Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority. His subsequent non-profit group and speaking engagements are dedicated to promoting intra-racial dialogue. The film gained its genesis in Kartemquin Films’s Diverse Voices in Documentary Workshop.
